Who can use the Wirecard Checkout Portal?

The Wirecard Checkout Portal is perfect for retailers who want to integrate all relevant payment methods into their online shops quickly and easily. We have the right solution for every type of company, be it start-ups, medium-sized companies or major companies.

Please note that we can only offer our service to companies with an office in Europe.

How does the Wirecard Checkout Portal work?

The Wirecard Checkout Portal configuration tool allows you to select your desired payment methods and additional services for your online shop quickly, simply and cost-efficiently. Registration only takes a few minutes. We will check all the information and documents as soon as they are available. Once we have successfully validated everything, the selected payment methods are enabled for your online shop within a few days and the corresponding login details are sent out to you.

Can I accept payments from everywhere in the world with the Wirecard Checkout Portal solution?

Yes, the Wirecard Checkout Portal supports all common payment methods and is therefore suitable for end customers throughout the world. Please note that your company must have a registered office in Europe in order to use our service.

Can I process payments in different currencies?

After activation, the euro is selected as the default currency for your payment processing.

As a global banking company, we naturally support all major currencies. If you need another currency in addition to, or instead of, the euro for your transactions and payments, please contact our customer support.

Are recurring payments supported?

Yes, we support recurring payments. If a customer makes an additional purchase from you or makes a subscription purchase, they do not need to re-enter their credit card details. The details that are stored with us enable the credit card to be charged easily. Your regular customers will appreciate this service. Please note that your shop solution must support this functionality.
